Meeting a Success as 65 Plus Residents Have Their Say

More than 65 residents attended a lively, yet polite meeting held in the Abbey Centre on Monday 8th April.

The event kicked off with a summary of the great work your committee have been doing to bring tenants, landlords and owners together to oppose Flagship Housing Associations stated desire to add 500 homes to the estate at great cost to the community.

And in a symbol of the importance now placed on residents wishes, Norfolk County Councillor Jane James was present to answer questions from the floor.

Attendees spoke with both passion and knowledge about the issues they face and the meeting concluded with a spirited speech from Thetford’s other County Councillor Terry Jermy.
